Level 3 Certificate in Leading Forest School
This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to lead a Forest School programme in your setting, so your learners can benefit from this approach to learning in nature. The course delivery consists of 8 days face-to-face initial training, which includes both theory and practical elements (some classroom time, and lots of practical sessions in the woods). You will then complete a learning portfolio, and run a trial Forest School programme in your own setting, with tutor support. The ninth training day is a tutorial day: you need to be able to attend all nine face-to-face days. If you work in a school or other setting, be sure that you have the support of your managers before undertaking this course.

This course will be led in English. The Welsh language is spoken and understood, and interaction and communication in Welsh is welcome. Learners can submit their portfolios in Welsh or English.
